Nagri Farm Tea Estate
This bio-organic tea garden is part of Chamong Group. It is located south west of Darjeeling at the Rungbong Valley. The altitude of the estate varies from 2400 to 6500ft.
The estate has an area of 256 acres under tea plantation out of a total land area of about 570 hectares and produces Darjeeling black, green and white tea. Annual production is about 1,90,000 Kgs. Over 900 workers are employed in this tea estate.
Nagri Farm used to be a dairy farm. It was owned by a British named Mr. Greenhill who started a dairy farm here in 1857. However when he figured out that tea plantation was a very lucrative business, he converted this entire area into a tea estate, but retained the name.
In 1883, Nagri Farm completely turned into a tea estate. Later Greenhill sold the estate to Williamson Magor Company. The original factory caught fire twice, once in 1912 and again in 1962. It was then rebuilt in its current location. Subsequently the Chamong Group has taken over the estate.

North Tukvar Tea Estate
The tea estate is located in east Darjeeling and faces the Kanchenjunga massif. Out of 195 hectares of total land area, around 187 hectares of area is under tea plantation. The estate is laid in elevation that ranges from 1,500 to 2,800ft. About 650 workers are employed here. North Tukvar Tea Garden mainly produces green tea and also Assam & China hybrids as well as clonal teas. The estate is owned by Jay Shree Tea Company.

Okayti Tea Estate
This picturesque tea estate is located at Mirik Valley and has one of the highest average elevations out of all tea gardens in the region. The elevation varies between 4,200 to 6,000ft. The garden is fringed by tall pine trees. The many waterfalls and the backdrop of the mountains add to the magnificent views. The river Mechi that separates India and Nepal, flows through the estate.
The garden started its operations during the British days in 1888 when it was known as Rungdoo Tea Garden. In few years time it became extremely popular in London Tea Auction and was termed "The only okay tea" and hence the name Okayti. Out of a total of 608 hectares of estate land, tea is cultivated in 208 hectares. The estate is owned by the Kumbhat family and produces Black and White Darjeeling Tea.
Orange Valley Tea Estate
Located in west Darjeeling with elevation between 5,000 to 6,000ft, Orange Valley Tea Estate has tea plantation area of 220 hectares out of a total land area of 347 hectares.
This is a bio organic garden producing mainly black tea. The estate is fringed by orange trees. It was earlier known as Bloomfield Tea Garden when it was owned by the Bloomfield Tea Company. It was later transferred to Orange Valley Tea Limited. Presently the estate is owned by the Bagaria Group.
The annual production of tea from the garden is 1,30,000kgs. Orange Valley continues to use the original China bushes that are over 100 years old. Replacement of the bushes takes place at the rate of 2% per year. The factory has also retained original machinery from the British period. The first flush offers flowery China flavor. The second flush has a distinct muscatel flavor.

Phoobsering Tea Estate
This is one of the oldest tea plantations in Darjeeling district and located in the west Darjeeling valley. The altitude of the garden varies from 3,000 to 6,000ft. Out of total 510 hectares of land area, tea plantation takes place in 240 hectares. The garden is owned by Chamon Group. It is said that the garden was named after one of its supervisors Phoob Tshering. This is a bio organic farm producing delicate White Darjeeling Tea. Annual production is 1,30,000kgs. The tea leaves are planted during early spring and offer pale brew with delicate floral flavor.

Phuguri Tea Estate
This is one of the larger tea estates producing 1,70,000 Kgs of tea annually. Phuguri is located at the Mirik Valley spreading across a total area of 432 hectares out of which 282 hectares is under tea cultivation. The garden produces black and green tea, and is owned by the Bagaria Group. The company replaces the old bushes with new ones at the rate of 2% per annum. The tea is plucked between march and June.

Puttabong (Tukvar) Tea Estate
This is one of the largest and the oldest tea estates in Darjeeling located 9kms north-east of the town and stretching for over 20Kms up to the border of Sikkim. Plantation here started in 1852. The tea garden comprises of five divisions and covers an area of 476 hectares with altitude varying from 1,500 to 6,500-ft. The estate is presently owned by Jayshree Tea Group, and employs around 1,500 workers producing 250tons of tea annually. Tea types include black and green Darjeeling tea that are cultivated mainly out of China and clonal bushes.

Pussimbing Tea Estate
This is a bio-organic garden owned by the Chamong Group. It's located below the Tiger Hill in Ghoom area. The world Pussimbing has been originally assigned by the Lepchas that stands for "place of streams". There are several streams passing through the estate. Area under tea plantation is 201 hectares with altitude varying from 1500 to 2200 meters. The estate produces 90,000Kgs of black Darjeeling tea annually.
